Data science and ML projects

• Multi-Class Sentiment Classification of Product Reviews Using Classical NLP Models

  Tuned Logistic Regression reached the highest macro F1 (0.655) and was selected. Linear SVM scored similarly overall but was weaker on the two- and three-star classes. Per-class F1 for the selected model ranged from 0.91 for five-star reviews to 0.47 for two-star reviews, so the middle ratings remain the hard cases.

• Content Recommendation System for a Game Catalogue

  The recommender produces personalised top-3 recommendations with a mean computation time below one millisecond.

• Telecommunication Customer Churn Prediction

  After tuning, the SVM and Logistic Regression both reached a test ROC-AUC of 0.75; the SVM had the highest F1-score (0.61). Random Forest gained the most from SMOTE and had the highest test accuracy (0.75), but a lower ROC-AUC (0.70).

• Laptop Pricing Analytics and Predictive Modelling

  Of the seven algorithms compared, XGBRegressor performed best, with an R² of 0.897 and an RMSE of 225.51.
